Nebraska High School Sports Hall of Fame to Honor Sacred Heart

(KLZA)-- The Nebraska High School Sports Hall of Fame Foundation has selected Falls City Sacred Heart for the Dominant Dynasties Award for 2014.  This award recognizes the 29 state championship teams from Sacred Heart from 1988-2011 in Football, Volleyball, Girls and Boys Basketball and Girls and Boys Track.

Team members (girls and boys) and coaches of those state championship teams will be honored at the Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Ceremony to be held on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the Lied Center in Lincoln.  The doors open at noon with a dessert buffet and reception for inductees, honorees, and guests.  The actual program will begin at 1:30 PM.

Team members and coaches of these Sacred Heart teams are invited to be recognized for this achievement.  When the program reaches that segment of the program, all team members in attendance and Doug Goltz will be called to the stage by the Master of Ceremonies.  Any Sacred Heart athlete or coach on stage will be introduced.  Goltz will then be allowed to make a few remarks accepting this award on behalf of our school.
