Opening Round of Fairfax Volleyball Tournament Held
The opening night of the Fairfax Invitational Volleyball Tournament was held Tuesday.
Mound City picked up three wins defeating Fairfax, Essex and St. Joe Christian, all two games to none.
In fact, all six matches went just two sets. Essex defeated St. Joe Christian and Fairfax. Fairfax lost all three matches with St. Joe Christian going 1-2 with their victory over Fairfax.
Thrusday Rock Port, Nodaway-Holt, Nishnabotna and Benton will meet in the final preliminary round robin action.
