Beatrice Wins Class B District Golf Title

(KTNC) -  Class B District Golf Monday at the Beatrice Country Club.
 Beatrice had the top four individual golfers and won the team title with a 332 total. Wahoo-Raymond Central was second with 365 and Syracuse finished third with 382.
 The top three teams and top 10 individual golfers advance to the State Meet.
 Auburn was 9th in the team standings with a 445 total and Falls City finished 10th among the 12 teams with a 449 total.
 Tyler Wagner of Beatrice shot an 80 to earn individual medallist honors, one stroke ahead of his teammate, Kyle Murray. Devin Stuart and Heath Hovendick of Beatrice finished 3rd and 4th.
 Two Syracuse golfers finished in the top 10. Tyler Berner was 6th with an 87 and Harrison Agena placed 10th with a 90.
 Brody Weinmann had Falls City’s low score, a 95, good for a 16th place tie. Also for Falls City, Aaron Kurpgeweit shot a 110, Preston Deckinger a 116, Colton Reiss a 128, and Bailey Bindle a 153.
 John Lambert had the low score for Auburn, with a 105. Other scores for Auburn include Jahn Kudrna with a 109, Justin Argo 112, Justin Gren 119, and Nicholas Koso 140.
