Falls City and Sacred Heart Boys Open State Tournament Play Thursday Morning

 (KLZA) Falls City is the 3rd seed in the Class C-1 Nebraska Boys State Basketball tournament that gets underway in Lincoln Thursday.  The Tigers take on 6th Seed Wahoo at team that is 20-5 on the season.  

Falls City at 24-2 is ranked 4th in Class C-1.  Gametime is scheduled for 10:45 a-m at the Devaney Sports Center, with pre-game coverage on A-M 1230, KTNC set to begin at 10:15 a-m.

If the Tigers win they play in the semi-finals Friday morning at 9 a-m.

Falls City Sacred Heart is ranked 2nd in D-2 and have put together a strong 23-4 season.  The 2nd seeded Irish take on the Leyton Warriors at 10:45 a-m Thursday at Lincoln Southeast High School.  Pre-game coverage for the Sacred Heart games begins at 10:20 a-m on SUNNY 101.3.

An Irish win in the opening round would find them advancing to semi-final round action Friday  evening at 7 p-m a tthe Devaney Sports Center.
