Husker Wins Weekly Big 10 Baseball Honor

 The Big Ten on Monday announced its Baseball Players of the Week.

Named Pitcher of the Week was Christian DeLeon,  of Nebraska.

The senior right hander from Foster, Texas three seven innings against top ranked Oregon State allowing just four hits and one unearned run in the Huskers 9-2 vicotry.  

DeLeon struck out five batters and walked just one helping the Huskers to their first victory over a number one ranked team since knocking off Texas in 2005. 

DeLeon is the first Husker to win the Big Ten Pitcher of the Week award.
