Pawnee City Boys Win "B" Division Title at MUDECAS Tournament

 The Pawnee city Boys won the Class "B" Championship of the MUDECAS Basketball Tournament Saturday night.  The Indians defeated class D-1 7th ranked Bruning-Davenport-Shickley 52-47 in the title game.

Chase Grizzle led the Indians with 27 points including five, 3-point buckets in the game. Grizzle saved his best for last scoring 11 points in teh 4th quarter of the game.

Scott Borcher had a big second quarter scoring 13 of his 15 points in the second stanza.

Freeman won the "A" Division Title with a 47-42 win over Falls City Sacred Heart.  Cole Schuster scored 16 and Isaac Frerichs 15 for the C-2 8th ranked Falcons now 12-2 on the year.  Sacred Heart, the second ranked team in D-2 dropped their second game of the year, falling to 12-2 on the season.  Both Irish losses have been to Freeman.  Austin Malone scored 15, Chaz Dunn had 13 and Matt Goltz 10 for the Irish in the game.
