Peru State O-Lineman Named All American

 Peru State junior offensive lineman Tyler Ford, a Lincoln native,  was named to the 2013 American Football Coaches Association National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics  All-America Team as announced on Wednesday by the AFCA.

Ford becomes the first Bobcat to receive the top honors since Jeff McQuinn, a defensive end from Council Bluffs, Iowa, was recognized in 2006. Ford is just the ninth Peru State football player since 1951 to receive NAIA, AFCA, or Kodak first team recognition.
