Holton Girls Golf Take 4th at Santa Fe Trail Invite

One day after placing third at the KC Piper Invite the Holton Wildcats girl's golf team hit the course again this time competing at the Santa Fe Trail Invite at Hidden Springs golf course and took home fourth place as a team out of seven squads in the competition.

Wildcats were led by senior, Sam Herring on the day as she tallied an eighth place finish notching a round of 55, while sophomore, Maddie Foster grabbed an 11th place performance behind a round of 56. Junior, Hannah Deegan also notched a top 15 finish taking 14th place with a round of 58.

The Wildcats team score was capped off by junior, Paige Delay who tallied a round of 62 to give Holton a team score of 231 on the day.

The strong performances continue to be displayed for the Wildcats this season the golf course as they continually place in the top five, all season. Holton now turns their attention to action coming up next Monday at Silver Lake as they will compete in the Silver Lake Invite.
